Important Reminders:

• IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE SAFETY OF STUDENTS, ANY INDIVIDUAL THAT IS NOT ON THE PICKUP LIST WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PICK UP A SCHOLAR.
  
• If someone who is NOT on this list will be picking your child up from school, it will be necessary for you to notify the office in writing by NOON, via email, at kisha.jackson@fayette.kyschools.us.; otherwise, we can NOT release the scholar to that individual.
  
• Teachers can NOT accept any changes related to transportation, including pickup lists; those requests MUST go through our front office staff.
  
• The individuals on your pickup list will be asked to show photo identification.
  
• Please notify the office in writing of any changes to this list as soon as they occur.
  

*The emergency list is different from the pick-up list. A person on the emergency list is NOT authorized to pick up your scholar.

Students NEW to GWC, will be provided with a few uniform pieces for the year. The school will provide, at NO cost, the following:

• 2 Polos
• 2 T-shirts
• 1 Sweatshirt

*Please complete this FORM no later than June 14th so that we can order your scholar's appropriate sizing.

The online store is NOW OPEN so you can purchase additional uniform pieces if you desire. Orders will be collected starting May 24th through Wednesday, July 15th at 11:59 pm.

• All scholars should wear George Washington Carver attire on ALL days unless specified.
• Scholars will need khaki pants and/or shorts.
• Scholars need closed toed shoes for safety purposes (e.g. sneakers, etc.).

Bus stops for special programs are available for families who qualify. Qualification is determined based on a set of criteria which can be found HERE.

• If you feel you meet the criteria for a bus, bus stop requests must be submitted by June 15 in order to be processed for the first day of school.
• It is VERY important that you submit this request by the deadline.
• Late submissions may NOT be ready until the second week of school. All routes will be publicly available August 1.

The 2024-25 supply lists are available and can be found by grade level below:

• Kindergarten
• First Grade
• Second Grade
• Third Grade
• Fourth Grade
• Fifth Grade

*These items can be brought to our Open House on August 7th from 5-6:15 p.m.
