Announcements and Reminders
April is Arab American Heritage Month and Autism Awareness Month
Feel free to stop by our Library to check out a book on these topics. Also check out our slideshows scrolling on the TVs around the building highlighting our Arab American Heritage Month Books.
Last week, members of the Black Student Union, led by Mrs. Harris, attended the Blacks at Microsoft Minority Student Day event. This inspiring opportunity introduced students to STEAM careers, empowered them through hands-on experiences with Microsoft technologies, and enhanced their career readiness. Students gained valuable insights into the tech industry, collaborated with peers, connected with professionals, and explored pathways to careers in technology through AI. A huge thank you to Mrs. Harris for organizing and Mrs. Sims for chaperoning this impactful trip! We’re proud of our students, Maryann Chege, John Harris, KJ Sims and Jayla Smith for representing our school and embracing this incredible learning experience.
