Hey Mustang Families,

The window is now open for parents to register their returning Mustangs for the 2024/2025 school year.

Please take the time to access your student through Parent Connect, select the current school year, look for the ASD “Quick Links” and you should see “Registration for the 2025 year is incomplete” in red letters. Follow the prompts to update contact information and make decisions for your student. Completing this process now, helps CHS complete our Master schedule which enables counselors to create schedules with your student’s individual course requests. Help us to help you!

Chugiak is gearing up for our annual AP Bootcamp this summer for students who are taking an AP class in the 24/25 school year. This two day program, held on August 5 and 6 from 8:45am to 3:15pm, helps students prepare for the rigorous course work of college level classes. The goal of AP Bootcamp is for your child to discuss and develop the skills they will need for success in high school, in college, and beyond. We will be skill building, as well as modeling and discussing what their AP experience might look like. In addition, this event will allow students to establish bonds with their peers that will promote solidarity in the classroom. AP Bootcamp is NOT a military recruitment event or a highly physical endeavor. The “bootcamp” theme is simply a fun way to get students excited about demonstrating their skills! ○ Riflery - first contest September 19

District Communication for coaches and athletes will be the REMIND platform. Coaches will create a Remind for their specific team for communication.

If your sport is interested in using food trucks they will have to be by approved by Rentals (907-742-4141 or Rentals@asdk12.org). Please see specific Guidelines regarding Food Trucks.
