Seedling Mile Update April 27, 2025

*April 30 - 2nd Grade Math MAP Test, 8:10am

1st - 5th Grade DIBELS testing day

5th Grade visits Barr, 11:00am

*May 1 - Happy May Day! 🌸, Run Club 3:05 pm - 4:15 pm

*May 2 - No School - Professional Learning Day

1. Barr will host their 5th grade Open House from 5:30-6:30 PM.

• Families will enter through Door #1 (west side).

• They will start in the Barr auditorium at 5:30 PM, with a short presentation for parents/guardians.

• After the presentation, families will have the opportunity to tour our building and meet some of our staff for the rest of the Open House.

We are nearing the end of our NSCAS (Nebraska Student-Centered Assessment System) Testing! The kids have been working hard and doing an excellent job! They are working for rewards like extra recess, pie the principal, and a bounce house!!! Please encourage them to continue to take their time and do their best!

Our first through fifth graders showcase their reading skills on Wednesday during their one on one DIBELS testing. They have been working hard on reading words and stories fluently!

The GIPS Foundation is starting their campaign drive and requests for teacher of the year nominations. Scan and nominate today. Nominations are due April 29th.
