Weekly Note
Greetings-
We are into our second half of Term A. Next week we have a lot of big events with our Red Ribbon Week, the Mock Election, the Halloween assembly, and the Halloween dance. These are some fantastic events happening for our community. I look forward to honoring students at our assembly for the following categories:
1. Positive Office Referrals: Teams and Unified Arts teachers nominate students who showcase positivity towards others and offer great work ethic to experiences within the classroom.
2. After-School All-Stars: Coaches and advisors for clubs and intramurals can nominate a participant who displays strong work ethic and collaboration on their team or club.
3. The Pack: Students who were accepted into The Pack will be recognized.
The P.A.C.K. (Positive And Caring Kids)
The Rochester Middle School P.A.C.K. is a program that recognizes students for their outstanding effort, attitude, compassion and leadership. Membership in the P.A.C.K. is not about having the highest grades; rather it is for our students that demonstrate excellent citizenship and strive to set a good example for others and who desire to have a positive impact on their school community.
4. Assistant Principal Cafeteria Awards for Multi-Tiered System of Supports Tier 1 Roll Out
5. Red Ribbon Door Decorating Contest Winner
We hope you have a great week!
Respectfully,
Ryan Gilpatrick

Saturday School
Saturday School Letter
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are offering Saturday School on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 8-11 am. This opportunity is for students to catch up on work. It is not an opportunity to get more work assigned. School starts at 8 am at Rochester Middle School. Late arrivals will not be allowed in. Please fill out the student's name, grade, team, and dates your student will attend. Also, please sign acknowledging that you would like your son or daughter to attend. It would be great to leave the best contact number for those dates. Staff does an excellent job planning for these sessions, so it is important that we have accurate numbers and information. Thank you!

Hello from the eighth grade staff!
This year, RMS is bringing back whole school events/dances. Each grade will sponsor one event, and receive the profits to be distributed among the three teams for future team activities and field trips. The first event is a Halloween dance on Friday, November 1st. We are looking for donations of food to sell at the event and that's where you come in! We are attaching a sign-up genius link below. If it is within your means, please consider selecting an item to donate and send in with your child. We appreciate your support and generosity in advance. We are excited to bring back community events for our students! Please click here to access the form to sign up to donate goods.
Thank you and take care,
