Welcome back! It has been such a beautiful couple of weeks back on campus! Thank you for trusting us with your precious babies. We are honored to partner with you in a way that leads to the very best outcomes for each student this year!

Due to the number of car riders this year, we will be bumping up our arrival time from 8:25 to 8:20. We will open our doors daily to welcome students and begin breakfast every day from 8:20-8:45. Please do not drop off your students prior to 8:20 as they will not be supervised prior to that time.

Dismissal will begin by 4:10 every day. Please be ready to pick up hiker/bikers and car riders at that time. We are working hard to be as efficient as possible with our dismissal procedures so we can get your students home as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience during this time of year.

Thank you also to the many families carpooling with people in your neighborhood to ensure a safe ride to and from school. We appreciate everything you are doing to ensure your student is at school every day. Lieder Leopards are better together!

This month we are focused on the paradigm of Leadership. A paradigm is the way you think about a certain topic. At Lieder, we believe everyone is a leader! Do you have a skillset that you would like to use to help lead an effort at Lieder Elementary? Contact the principal at dinah.mcmichael@cfisd.net to partner with us!

We will celebrate by wearing Hispanic Heritage celebratory attire every Friday during Hispanic Heritage month! Celebrate with us on the following Fridays:

• September 20
• September 27
• October 4
• October 11

Thanks to our Title 1 funding, all Lieder students will receive free breakfast and lunch every day!

Breakfast is served daily from 8:25 to 8:45.

Parents are welcome to join their kindergarten through fifth grade students at lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning October 8 for grades 1-5 and November 5 for kindergarten.
