Free Lunches extended
The school district has extended its curbside pick-up program for free meals to five days a week instead of four. Meals may be picked up at each school for digital learners and any child under the age of 18, Monday through Friday, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The pick-up each day includes both breakfast and lunch. For safety reasons, individuals are not allowed to enter the school to pick up or eat meals. Craig curbside pick-up is located at the back of the school; continue straight up the drive to the back of the school and wind around to the side cafeteria door. Parents may pick up the meals; the student does not need to be present.
We also would like to remind you that Gwinnett County Public Schools is offering meals at no charge at school sites to all students—both digital learners and those attending in-person—through December. These meals are provided at no cost to the individual through the federal School Nutrition Program. The school district encourages families who are eligible for the Free & Reduced Meal Program to fill out the annual application to ensure meal benefits continue after that time. The application is available on the GCPS website or at https://www.nlappscloud.com/.

The Reflections Program is a National PTA and Georgia PTA cultural arts competition. Since 1969, over 10 million students across the nation have taken part in this popular PTA program.
The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works. The excitement and enthusiasm that the program generates for students, parents, schools and communities is unmatched with the majority of Georgia PTAs participating in the program at all PTA levels.
Young artists get involved through their local PTA or PTSA. A student may submit an entry in any of six arts areas. Only original works of art are accepted. The six art areas are: Visual Arts Photography, Literature, Music Composition, Dance Choreography, and Film Production.
That's why the Reflections Program provides an excellent opportunity for students of all ages to:
· Unleash their creative talents and be inspired
· Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
· Experience the joy and fun of making art
· Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme
Entries should be dropped off at Craig ES between September 29th thru October 1st at the front entrance.
Questions, please contact Radhika Panchal via email @ radhika.panchal@gmail.com.
· Receive positive recognition for their original works of art
The flyer above is from GCPS to families as a reminder of the things they should look for before sending their child to school each day.
