A Note From Mrs. Bowden...
As we enter the final week of school, I want to take a moment to say how truly grateful I am for each one of your students—and for your families. The energy and excitement that fill our hallways during the school year bring me so much joy, and the quiet that settles in as summer approaches always feels a little bittersweet.
While the building may grow quieter, behind the scenes we are already busy planning for another amazing school year. Still, I’ll miss the daily hustle and bustle that makes our school such a vibrant place.
Keep an eye out for next week’s newsletter! We’ll be introducing a special friend your family can take along on your summer adventures—whether you're traveling or enjoying a staycation. You'll have the opportunity to share photos of your summer fun, and we can't wait to see what you're up to. More details will be shared soon.
As always, please visit our school calendar at lpsfrisco.com to stay informed about upcoming events.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. It’s a great day to be a LION!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Bowden

Chromebook Challenge
A dangerous Tik Tok trend known as the "Chromebook Challenge". The trend involves inserting hazardous objects into laptop ports, which can lead to incidents such as fires and evacuations. TikTok has removed content related to the trend and is advising users on recognizing harmful challenges.
This is not only a matter of property damage -- these actions present a serious toxic smoke and fire hazard, both at school and at home. Students who are caught participating in the challenge would face a financial penalty and disciplinary consequences.
We have experienced numerous reports of this occurring on campus. Parents have been contacted and students have received consequences.
Please talk to your student and educate them on how these types of challenges are not funny. They add cost to the school and could result in serious consequences.
Thank you for your partnership in this matter.
