Principal's Message:
Greetings Forest Park Students and Families,
Play Structure Update: Students in grades 1st through 5th participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open our updated play structure this morning. We established some basic expectations that will be revisited in detail during future assemblies:
carousel: 5 riders maximum, 2 to spin outside of ride (holding at the entrance)
swings: wait your turn, count to twenty (a full swing is kicking front to back)
seesaw: 5 students may ride, the 5th must sit on the platform and hold handles
We’re excited to use our new play structure equipment. Thank you families for discussing expectations and how we exercise Safety, Respectfulness, Responsibleness, Kindness in all we do.
Dismissal Plan Changes? Please call the FPE front desk at (503) 916-5400 (dial 0 for the office) and let us know if there is a change to the dismissal plan communicated with your child's teacher. When your student gets on a different bus to go on a playdate, or goes home with a friend for a playdate, we need to be notified by both families please.
