Wood TV 8's Football Frenzy Tailgate is Coming to CSHS!
Wood TV 8 is bringing its Football Frenzy Tailgate show to Cedar Springs High School!
Get ready to light up the morning and show your Red Hawk pride! Join us for a LIVE broadcast at Red Hawk Stadium on Friday, Sept. 27 at 5:45 a.m. The WoodTV 8 morning crew will be here, and they want our stands packed with Red Hawks ready to bring the energy! Arrive on time and be ready to cheer loud and proud—this is our chance to show everyone what Cedar Springs is all about!
But that’s not all! To kick off the fun, the Athletic Leadership Council is hosting a Community-Wide Can Drive from Sept. 23-26. It’s a friendly competition between all the schools the Frenzy Crew will visit, and it’s our chance to shine! Drop off donations at the high school’s main foyer from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students who bring in 5 cans or non-perishable items will be entered to win WoodTV8 swag and a $150 gift card (must be present at the tailgate to win)!
Let’s come together, show our spirit, and make this event unforgettable! Go Red Hawks!
Advisory Sessions Begin Next Thursday!
Our first Advisory will take place on Thursday, September 26.
This 35-minute session, held before 4th hour, allows students to connect with their graduating class. During these monthly Advisories, students will explore topics like career and college planning, course scheduling, accessing transcripts, and other skills for high school success.
Students only need to bring their charged Chromebook.
Picture Retake Day – September 27
Picture retake day is coming up on September 27! Please remember not to wear green. Seniors, you still need to get a photo taken for your class ID, even if you’ve already submitted a senior photo for the yearbook.
All photo orders will be available online through the Jostens website. An email with ordering information will be sent a few days after picture day.
Important Reminder: Parking Permits Required
Students, if you park on campus, you must have the new parking permit that hangs from your rearview mirror. Permits are $10 and can be purchased in the main office.
For security reasons, it's important for us to identify the vehicles in our parking lot during the school day. There have been instances where vehicles were left running, damaged, or needed to be moved. The permits help us quickly connect with the right student when necessary.
