A NOTE FROM THE OFFICE
As we get ready for winter break, I wanted to take a minute to thank you for being such an important part of our school community. It’s been a fantastic first half of the school year, and we’ve loved seeing the growth, energy, and kindness your kids bring to Hobomock every day.
This time of year is perfect for slowing down, spending time with family and friends, and making special memories. Whether you’re traveling, celebrating at home, or just relaxing, I hope the break is filled with happiness and laughter.
From all of us at Hobomock, we wish you a wonderful holiday season and a happy, healthy start to the new year. We can’t wait to see everyone back in January, ready for more adventures and learning!

A Night to Remember: Our 6th Grade Band Shines at the Celtics Game!
Huge congratulations to our 6th-grade band for their amazing performance of the National Anthem at the Celtics game last night! They wowed the crowd with their talent and hard work—what an unforgettable moment!
December was a busy month!
Our chorus sang at the Annual Tree Lighting at the Community Center on Saturday 12/7. Funded by our Whole Foods grant, Grade 2 planted garlic with Holly Hill Farms in our newly constructed garden beds out back. Our 6th grade hosted a Veteran’s Day Assembly with local veterans and the winners of our essay contest got to share their writing. The McNamara sisters won a fun police ride to school with Chief MacDonald, SRO Simmons and Sasha. Our Unified Sports club competed with the Police and Fire Departments in a bowling match, visited the middle school fo cupcake decorating and a craft and went on a field trip to Boston Bowl. Finally, Ivy: The Very Determined Dog visited us on 12/11 for a motivating assembly about determination and perseverance.

This past Saturday, December 7th, the Pembroke Tree Lighting was filled with holiday cheer as the combined elementary choruses took center stage! 🎶 Under the brilliant direction of Kelly LeBanc, Karin Foley, and Allie McDermott, they led the crowd in a magical carol sing-along to kick off the season.

PTO NEWS
We Shine Bright Together! Katie wanted to make a bulletin board that included everyone and our wonderful Art teacher Mrs DeCosta helped make it happen! We had EVERY student decorate a post-it note; some kids just wrote their name, others doodle or made detailed drawing and some wrote positive quotes. This labor of love is completed with over 450 post-it notes, including the names of all of the staff. #shinebrightathobomock
