Greetings Rock View Families,
As we race into another exciting week at Rock View, I’m thrilled to share some updates and reminders to keep our community soaring high, just like our Roadrunner spirit!
This past Friday, we celebrated our Students of the Month for demonstrating perseverance. We are so proud of these students for being leaders in their classrooms and showcasing resilience in their learning. A special thank you to our counselors for promoting character education throughout the school and to the parents who joined us to celebrate their students.
With just two weeks before winter break, our students remain focused and engaged in their learning. In January, they will take mid-year assessments to celebrate their progress in reading and math. Ms. Helse will share more specifics shortly after the break.
A huge thank you to Christ Episcopal Church Kensington for their generosity in donating over 25 food bags and gift cards for Thanksgiving. Your kindness made a meaningful difference for many of our families.
We also want to express our gratitude to the PTA and the entire Rock View community for your participation in the Read-a-thon. Your support not only helped the school but also encouraged a love for reading among our students. Thank you for making it such a success!
Lost and Found Reminder:
Our Lost and Found is overflowing with sweaters, jackets, and coats! Please encourage your child to check the racks for any missing items. Parents are also welcome to visit during the school day to check for lost belongings. All unclaimed items will be donated before winter break, so don’t wait!
