Get your students ready to shop by setting up an eWallet. eWallet is a cashless system that allows you to choose the maximum amount your child can spend at the fair. There are no worries of lost money or a lost check to worry about with an eWallet.
In addition to eWallet, you have the opportunity to donate funds to our schools to provide books to students through the SHARE THE FAIR FUNDS at the end of the set up.
Visit the following website to set up an eWallet or to donation to SHARE the FAIR today!
(REMINDER: each fair requires a new eWallet)

Teacher Requests/Student Placement for 2025-2026 School Year
Our goal is to create the best possible learning environment for all students while ensuring balanced and equitable class assignments.
Each year, our dedicated teachers and staff carefully consider multiple factors when placing students in classes. We look at academic needs, learning styles, social and emotional development, and peer dynamics to create well-balanced classrooms where all students can thrive. Because this process is so thoughtful and thorough, we are unable to accept teacher requests from families.
However, we do value parent input regarding their child’s individual needs. If you would like to share important information about your child—such as learning styles, social considerations, or other factors that may impact their success you will be able to do so with a Microsoft Form found below. Please note that this input is strictly for sharing insights about your child, not for requesting specific teachers.
While we understand that parents may have preferences, we ask for your trust in our team’s ability to make decisions that serve the best interests of all students. Our teachers are highly qualified professionals who are committed to creating a positive and enriching experience for every child.
We appreciate your support and cooperation in this process.
Thank you for being a valued part of our school community. We look forward to another fantastic year of learning and growth! The form will close May 21st.

Updates from the Office
Class Composite Order - If a student wants to purchase a class picture, parent may contact Kaiser's customer service at 248-619-9119 Ext 100 to place an order.
Food Deliveries - Food that is delivered by a company such as Door Dash or Grub Hub will not be permitted at Havel for students. Due to school safety concerns and the disruption to the school day, we cannot accommodate such deliveries. We ask that all students bring their own lunch or get a free lunch from the cafeteria. If a student forgets their lunch, they may get a free lunch in the cafeteria, or a parent may drop off a lunch for their student. . This practice takes place at Bemis and the high school level in order to provide consistent expectations for our students. Thank you for your understanding and we appreciate your support.
Dress for the weather - Layers are suggested, as this time of year can be unpredictable!! Just as a reminder the office wanted to kindly remind parents that your student(s) have proper clothing for school, as the office will not be calling home to provide a change of clothes. It’s important for students to be prepared for any weather or activities that may come up. Thanks so much for your understanding and support!
Attendance - When a student is going to be absent, parents/guardians should report the absence before the school day begins. Calls to the attendance line at 586-797-5299 which can be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will be received by an answering machine during non-school hours.
Lost and Found
Please encourage your children to check the lost and found. Items not claimed before the upcoming break will be donated. Thank you!
Family Vacations
Vacation or travel during school days is discouraged. Families should seek permission from a building administrator for an excused vacation absence prior to making any travel arrangements. The request should be made in writing at least one week prior to the vacation. Vacation absences of more than ten days in a semester will not be approved. Vacations taken without approval will be marked as unexcused absences. Arrangements should be made with the student’s teacher in advance as to timelines for completing class work. Homework may be requested and requires 24 hours to process.

Medication at School
Any child who needs to have medication administered at school will need to have completed medial forms on file for each medication. This includes over-the-counter medications, such as Tylenol/Advil, cough drops, allergy medication, and others
Children may not bring any medication to school, including allergy medication, without signed medical forms on file. Please do not send medication to school in your child's backpack, such as inhalers, EpiPen, or over-the-counter medications as they will be asked to keep the medication in the office for parents to pick up. If your child needs to have medication in their backpack per doctor recommendation, UCS requires the completed medical form to be on file with the office.
