Mooresville Middle School
Community Newsletter -- January 10th, 2025
A Message from Mr. Kosal:
MMS is All Heart!
This is Mr. Kosal, proud MMS principal. As you've seen from our district communication & MMS parent square, Mooresville Middle School is running an asynchronous learning day today, 1/10/25.
Students are NOT expected to log into any virtual / Zoom classes. All MMS teachers have been directed to post work on Canvas for students to complete tomorrow asynchronously (i.e. independently at home). Many teachers have Emergency/Virtual Lesson Plans already ready, or some may choose to create a different independent assignment and will post in the Announcements section. Have your Red Imp student check teachers' Canvas pages for clarification.
Thanks, families, for being flexible with this crazy winter weather. Here's what you'll find in this week's newsletter:
- Q2 report cards sent home on Thurs. 1/9
- 6th grade field trip information (Camp Thunderbird)
- Hornets basketball game in January (PTSO event)
- Early College options + info for next year (8th graders)
- Community assistance options & resources
- upcoming Spring sports tryout information
- home athletic events for next week
- Field trip medicine FAQ
