Kindergarten Last Day
Kindergarten's last day is Wednesday, June 5th. It is a FULL day of school. I cannot believe we are already here. I feel like we were just sitting in Kindergarten orientation! I look forward to celebrating with the Kindergarten families on Wednesday at 9:30AM in the gym. Please enter through the gym doors.
I hope all of our littlest Stars have a great summer break and are ready for more fun and learning in September.
Grades 1-4 Field Day
On Tuesday, June 11th, we will be having Field Day for students in grades 1-4. We wanted to do more than just game time on the field, so we have planned a fun day for all! Students will engage in field games, karaoke, bubbles and chalk, and DRUMS ALIVE! Students will also be having lunch outside for a special treat.
What do you need to know?
- Students should wear sneakers and hats (if they want).
- Sunblock should be applied at home before they come to school.
- They can bring a lunch from home or order a sandwich from school (choices can be found on the Studley menu).
- They can bring a towel or blanket to sit on during lunch.
- We are looking for donations of bubbles and chalk. If you are interested, please send in with your child or you can drop off at the school.
- With safety our first priority, this is not an event that spectators are invited to.
Grades 3 and 4 Concert
I continue to be in awe of our students and their skills and talents, especially during a musical concert. I told Mr. Clavette, I have NEVER met anyone who can make a recorder sound pleasant. Our 3rd and 4th grade students did an amazing job performing for their families. A BIG thank you to Mr. Clavette for all he does with our students.

AHS Graduation Walk
We had the best time hosting our former Studley Stars last week. They walked through the halls they once called home while the whole school cheered them on! One first grader looked at his friend and said, "I can't wait. That's going to be us one day." And THAT is what it's all about. Congratulations to the Attleboro High School Class of 2024.
Device Update
All chromebooks and chargers that belong to 4th graders will be collected the last week of school. All incoming 5th graders will receive a new chromebook in the fall.
All current 2nd and 3rd grade students will bring home their chromebook and charger for the summer. We will complete an inventory to make sure all students go home with what they need. They will need to bring back both the chromebook and charger when they return to school in the fall. Failure to do so will result in a replacement fee.
Transition to Middle School - 4th Grade
During the school day on June 4th, our fourth grade students will be visiting their middle schools for a tour of the building. They will leave Studley around 9:00AM and return around 11:00AM.
On the evening of June 4th (Brennan) and June 5th (Coelho and Wamsutta) at 6:00PM the parents/guardians of incoming 5th graders (our current fourth graders) are invited to their middle schools for an Information Night. Be on the lookout for more information from the middle school!
24-25 Transportation
24-25 Transportation Application Open! New this year, all eligible students, including Kindergarten and First grade, who wish to ride the bus to/from any of the Attleboro Public Schools MUST complete the Transportation Application to secure transportation. The only exception to this is for those with specialized transportation needs listed in an IEP. Families should refer to the email sent on May 3, 2024, or visit the APS Transportation website for details: https://www.attleboroschools.com/o/apswc/page/transportation
Walker Door Safety
William James College Interface Referral Service
Any resident of Attleboro or student attending the Attleboro Public Schools (through a guardian) can access the William James College INTERFACE Referral Service. The INTERFACE Helpline helps individuals in subscribing communities become connected with outpatient mental health and wellness resources.
Through the Helpline that operates from 9 AM- 5 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 8 AM- 6 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, callers will complete an intake which takes about 15-20 minutes and then within a day or so of their call will be assigned to work with a Resource and Referral Counselor who will help them navigate the challenges of finding mental health services, including obtaining a referral match to an outpatient provider, as well as information and resources related to mental health and wellness. Please see What to Expect When You Call the Helpline or visit interface.williamjames.edu for more information.
The INTERFACE Helpline is not an emergency service. If you or the person you are seeking to assist requires a crisis response to meet immediate safety needs, please call 988, 911, go to your local emergency room, or find your local crisis services by calling 833-773-2445 and asking for crisis support.
Car Drop Off/Outdoor Play
As you know, our school day starts at 8:30AM. This means there are no staff members on duty to supervise students until 8:30AM. Several students are leaving their cars before 8:30AM to play. If you are allowing your child(ren) to leave your car and play before school, they must be supervised. Students cannot leave that area and go to the side or back of the building where they would be unsupervised. Thank you for your attention to this.
