We had an amazing Veterans Day Assembly. Thank you to all our families and community members that were able to attend! Below is a link to the video our students made for the Veterans.

Important Reminders for Parents/Caregivers:

• Please do not have food delivered for your child. You can come in person to bring them a special meal during lunch time if you like.
• Please label coats, water bottles and lunch boxes with your child’s name. Lost and Found is quickly filling up again.
• The Lost and Found is donated at the end of every month. Please make sure your child is keeping track of their belongings and checking the Lost and Found often.
• School ends promptly at 2:50. Please make sure your child is picked up no later than 3:00 pm. Your child cannot be left out on the plaza. All children still waiting will be brought into the office.
• The weather is getting colder, please make sure your child has gloves and a hat in their backpack for recess. Also, many classes have recess in the morning before it’s warmed up for the day, proper coats are encouraged.
• During times of inclement weather, please watch your local news or go to D11.org to verify if the school is on late start or closed.

Important Reminders from the Health Room:

• No medications may be in backpacks. Any medications must be given in the health room with the proper documentation on file including over the counter medication.
• Please put lip balm in your child’s backpack. We’ve had many children come to the health room needing lip balm and we are not allowed to apply it.
• If your child has a tendency to need lotion for their hands, we are unable to apply it in the health room.
• If your child has an allergy, the health room must have documentation on file including emergency medication.
