Varsity Softball

This week, the varsity softball team took the drive out to Mayville to play a doubleheader. They suffered a tough loss, but have been making improvements. Both Trenna Bowman and Madison Maday had a hit. While pitching, Mikayla Fleming and Monica Kucharski contributed to the strikeouts. Great job to our varsity softball team!
Varsity Soccer

On Tuesday, April 23rd, the Dryden/Imlay City Girls Soccer team played at home against Almont High School. Imlay City lost to Almont, 8-0.
On Thursday, April 25th, the Dryden/Imlay City Girls Soccer team played at home against North Branch High School. Imlay City tied North Branch, 1-1.
On Friday, April 26th, the Dryden/Imlay City Girls Soccer team faced Byron and lost, 4-2.
Great job girls! The next Dryden/Imlay City girls soccer game will be on Monday, April 29th at Cros-Lex High School at 4:30pm. Good luck!
Varsity Track

Last week, the Dryden Varsity Track Team competed at Mayville for the Wildcat Relays and at Vassar for the Hurd Invitational. On Tuesday, at Mayville, the girls team took second place and the boys team finished sixth. Great job! On Tuesday, Dryden had some amazing finishes! Great job to everyone on the team! Congratulations to Ava DeVlaminck for breaking the discus school record by throwing 97'6.5"!
For the boys team during Tuesday's competition, there were many great accomplishments! Great job to everyone and congratulations on sixth place!
On Friday, the team competed at Vassar for an invitational. The girls team took second place, and the boys team took fourteenth. On the girls side, Delaney Wolle ran 14.03 seconds in the 100 meter dash, Olivia Reynolds ran 27.19 in the 200 meter dash, Ivy Brown ran 2:58 in the 800 meter dash, Sophia Peter ran 49.69 in the 300 meter hurdles, and Lily Finnigan ran 6:42 in the 1600 meter run.
The boys achievements go to Aiden Fitchett running 4:48 in the 1-mile, Dylan Lasherrunning 2:22 in the 800, Logan Korth running a 1:01 in the 400 meter dash, and Matthew Hickmott running 12.85 seconds in the 100 meter dash. Great job boys!
Junior High Track
On April 22, Dryden traveled to the Peck Quad. The boys team finished first, and the girls team took a second place overall.
