Fall Quarter Update
Bay High School Family Engagement Quarterly Newsletter

Family Engagement and You
Welcome to our first issue of 2024-2025! I am excited to celebrate cooler weather and all the fun that Fall brings to our school and families. Fall has always been a busy season, with activities, road trips, and enjoying all things pumpkin spice!
As we close our first quarter of the school year, we have the opportunity to visit at our Parent Teacher Conferences. These are scheduled from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17. If you are unable to make this time, please reach out to your child's teacher or teachers, and request a different time or day. We want to work with you to ensure your child's success in school.
It is time to think about planning some family time! I know it's hard to come up with ideas for things to do sometimes, so we are hosting a Family Game Night at Bay High School from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 7. NOTE: This event is for families of Bay High School students Only.
Thank you for trusting us with your most precious treasures, your children.

Bay High School
Join us for our Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences! Your child's report card and other information will be available for you to pick up, and faculty will be available for meeting with you. We will be here from 3-7 p.m. on October 17; however, if you need a different time, please reach out to your child's teacher.
Resources for Parenting a Teen
Parenting a teen can be both one of the most challenging and most rewarding experiences you will have. It is like roller skating on a tightrope over a shark tank some days! 🤣
One of the most important parts of parenting a teen is nurturing the relationship you built with your child when they were little. This can be a delicate process that does take some work. Here is a short video with some resources that may help.
