Dress Code
TeSA Families,
Students do not have school on Monday or Tuesday, and then we are back to school in regular uniforms on Wednesday and Thursday. Please reference the Dress Code Policy linked HERE and pictured below. All items are mix and match to give students options within the requirements. For safety, students will not be able to participate in all P.E. activities if they are not wearing tennis shoes, so please send your child in tennis shoes on P.E. days. Reference your child's grade-level website for their Fine Arts/P.E. schedule.
Friday, September 6th is our first 5th Grade Dress-Up Fundraiser. These events are all listed on our TeSA Activity Calendar. The money raised from these fundraisers will help pay for the 5th grade graduation ceremony and overnight field trip. Students participating should bring $5 in cash and wear clothing that covers everything the normal uniform items cover.
Artistically & Academically Yours,
Betsy Compton, M.A., M.A.T., M.Ed.

Celebrations at School
Students' birthdays are highlighted on the morning announcements. Birthdays over the weekend are either announced on the Friday before or Monday after. If you would prefer your child not be mentioned, please email cynthia.rey@mytesa.org. If you would like to bring something for your child's homeroom class, please follow our Celebration Treats policy as listed in the handbook and below.
Treats and small prizes are allowed for celebrations at school. Due to potential allergens, non-food
items are highly recommended. If food items are brought to campus, the following guidelines must
be met:
● It is the donor’s responsibility to discuss any classroom allergies with the teacher before
bringing any food items to school, and to make sure there is something for every child.
● Due to the risk of allergic reactions due to ingredients or cross contamination, no homemade
items will be accepted.
● Celebration Treats must be wrapped, store bought items, and accompanied by a nutritional
label.
● Treats will be distributed by the teacher or designated volunteer at the teacher’s discretion in the
homeroom classroom.
TeSA Counseling Resources
Our Counselor, Mrs. May, and our Therapy Dog, Goose, are here to help all TeSA students! Throughout the school year, Mrs. May will visit classrooms, teaching guidance lessons to reinforce our behavior expectations and guide students through typical elementary needs, such as emotional awareness and healthy friendships. Mrs. May is also available to meet with students individually when needed. Visit the Counseling Corner website to learn more and see additional resources for your family!
