As we return from Fall Break, we look forward to a positive end to quarter 1 and beginning of quarter 2. The tragedy at Apalachee High School has not only affected Barrow County, but Forsyth and Georgia as a whole. As a community, we must teach students that WORDS MATTER. We have been visiting classrooms to reinforce this to all of our students. Please take the time to talk to your student- do not assume "not my child." Unfortunately, students across the state are receiving school and police consequences due to statements being made.

Our #1 goal is for our students to feel safe, connected, and thriving. We must do this as a community.

As a Lakeside community, we stand for Leadership, Attitude, Kindness, and Effort. It truly is Better at the LAKE.

If a student sees or hears anything that is concerning (in person, in text, or social media)- a great way to report it is through P3. These reports should be first hand accounts and NOT RUMORS!

Intramurals for October will be Kickball with Coach Cam- Intramurals Website

Intramurals are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:00-8:30 AM.
Meet in the GYM with appropriate attire then Kick ball will be OUTSIDE on the black top.
