Counselor Corner
Dear Families:
It feels like time is moving so quickly. I can’t believe we are in February. During the month we will be reviewing previous lessons and how they have been helpful to us at Tremont. In September we discussed having a sense of belonging in school with friends and adults. October was positive friendships. How I can be a good friend. November was about naming, reframing, and regulating our emotions. In December we discussed the size of the problem and how to problem solve and lastly January was all about gratitude.
We have started our winter groups which will continue until the end of February.
I am excited to have Jill Prout, my practicum student, from the University of Dayton. She will help facilitate small groups, classroom lessons and also touching base with students individually.
Be well,
Jean Allocco, School Counselor
Jill Prout, Practicum Student
