Message from Principal Webb
The start of October has been wonderful! We have so many positive happenings for our scholars. 5th grade is going to School of the Wild next week and the Book Fair was a hit this week!
Our students also participated in our fall fire drill practice and did fantastic making it out within 3 minutes! So many events and highlights in this memo, and mark your calendars. The Flu Clinic is Monday after school for those interested. Our Lost and Found will be donated at the end of next week. Please check it out before then!
Just a friendly reminder that if your student is visiting the playground after school they must check in at home first and be supervised if returning. This is for their safety as there are a lot of programs (BASP/KEY) and different clubs happening after school and no school supervision after school lets out. Also please remind all children to follow playground expectations even after school hours.
Parent-Teacher conference sign up information will be coming soon. It is linked in the Infinite Campus called PTZ wizard. More information coming soon. Many families also signed up at back to school night.
Our ELL Night will be Wednesday at Lake Ridge- we look forward to seeing you all then!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Principal Webb

Rent the Celebration Rock
The purpose of the Celebration Rock is to promote school spirit at Longfellow Elementary School. Parents, caregivers, students & staff have the opportunity to “Rent the Rock” to recognize a student’s birthday, show school spirit, thank or recognize a teacher or staff member, mark congratulatory events, etc. It is a great way to spread positive messages and increase excitement in our community! 100% of the funds raised through the Celebration Rock will be used by the school or PTA for events and for school improvement for our amazing students!
Call the office if you are interested in renting the rock! 3196881135
