April is the Month of the Military Child. Please be on the lookout for the form outlined below to come home with your student in their Thursday folder. You should see it come home Thursday, April 3rd. If you would like to fill out the form and return it with your student to their teacher we would like to recognize your student as a child of a Military Family.

Dear Gemini Families,

Teacher Appreciation Week is almost here! From April 7-11, we have a fun and meaningful week planned to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff. Each day includes a special theme and gesture to show our gratitude.

Here’s how your family can contribute:

Monday (4/7) – “Teachers Are the Heart of Our School”
*Bring a heart-shaped note or drawing for your teacher.*

Tuesday (4/8) – “A Stroke of Kindness”
*Send in a school supply or gift card to stock your teacher’s supply closet.*

Wednesday (4/9) – “Teachers Make Us a Masterpiece”
*Students' self-portraits will be displayed in the halls to celebrate their teachers.*

Thursday (4/10) – “Thank You for Adding Color to Our World”
*Help contribute to a teacher gift basket (organized by room parents).*

Friday (4/11) – “The Grand Finale – A Gallery of Gratitude”
*Dress like an artist (beret, paint smock, etc.) or wear black to be a ‘museum guide.’ Families are invited to browse student artwork after dismissal!

Please Note: While we provide a framework for the week, room parents may have adjusted plans to fit their class. Be sure to follow any additional instructions from your room parent.

Below is the link to the 2025-2026 PTO Executive Board Election Ballot. Voting will begin Sunday, April 4th and will end 7:30 am on Monday, May 7th. The new board will be announced at the PTO General Meeting taking place on Wednesday, May 7th at 8:00 am.

Beginning Monday, August 26th, there will be one day a week that parents can sign up, in advance. Please include your child in the number of people you are signing up. • Parents must be on time for their child’s scheduled lunch time. • Parents must communicate with their child’s teacher that they will be coming to lunch on that day. • Parents must sign in at the front office and will be escorted to Center Court and supervised if they are not a registered volunteer. Registered volunteers do not need to be escorted or supervised during their lunch in Center Court. • Parents may only have lunch with their child. • We strongly suggest that younger siblings stay home as we will have limited seating available. • Please be mindful of time, your child will need to report back to the cafeteria before the end of their lunch period. Parents will sign out in the front office.
