Note: This weekly newsletter is being sent to all of our enrolled families, both those at the Broadway K-8 campus and those whose students attend class at Operation Breakthrough, so that all families are aware of upcoming events.

If you have not yet completed the 2024-2025 Family Survey, please take 5-10 minutes this week to complete it! We'd love to hear from every family!

Did you know that missing just two days of school per month can add up to 18 days per year, putting students at risk of falling behind? Regular school attendance is essential for academic success, social development, and building strong learning habits.

Tips for Building Strong Attendance Habits:

• Establish a Morning Routine – Set out clothes, pack lunches, and prepare backpacks the night before.
• Create a Consistent Sleep Schedule – Aim for 9-11 hours of sleep each night to help your child wake up refreshed.
• Schedule Appointments Wisely – Try to plan doctor or dentist visits outside of school hours when possible.
• Talk About the Importance of School – Help your child understand that every day counts!
