Goodness Grows is trying something new...a monthly newsletter!
Now, even though we are saying "monthly," it may not actually be monthly
in the strictest sense of the term. Perhaps it will be twice a month, or every other month. Who knows! But we wanted another way to keep everyone informed,
besides our website and Facebook. So, here goes! Read on to see what

Have you thought about the importance of Community Supported Agriculture? A CSA, or produce subscription, is jam-packed full of benefits! By becoming a part of our CSA this year, you will get to enjoy fresh, delicious, local fruits and vegetables. You get the peace of mind knowing how, where, and when they were grown, as well as the satisfaction of helping a local farm business to succeed. Come shop at Goodness Grows the first two Fridays and Saturdays in May! We will have hanging baskets and more, perfect for Mother's Day or for getting your home and yard ready for summer.

We know that spring has truly arrived when our amazing classes return to Goodness Grows! This year, we are very lucky to have four different groups that come work with us every week. We welcome the special needs classes from Leetonia and Crestview, as well as the two Transition classes from Salem. These students, and their wonderful teachers and staff, are hard workers. They light up our facility with their willingness to try new things, work hard, help each other, and have fun! The relationship that we have with these classes is one of the most important aspects of Goodness Grows. We get to share our knowledge with them, providing important job training, experiences, and skills that will benefit their lives, while they help us plant, grow, clean, cook, and much, much more! We want to say a big thank you to everyone who is currently involved, as well as those who have been involved in the past! You all truly help so much goodness grow!

Family Night Out & Market

Austintown Township Park on Kirk Rd.

There will be many cool vendors there, plus fun for the whole family! Come check it out and enjoy some springtime in the park. It's a great time to stock up on our Canfield Fair award winning Jungle Jam!

Goodness Grows is a faith-based non-profit that has grown out of the commitment of care to work creatively with community groups, congregations, workplaces, and individuals.
