Principal Garcia's Summer Update

I hope the first month of summer was filled with making memories and family fun time! I have enjoyed the slower speed of July which allowed me to spend time with my family and friends, vacation in Sardinia, Italy, read lots of books, and I am beginning to learn to crochet.

It is hard to believe that in just another month we will be opening our doors for the students to return. We have been busy at TJS planning and preparing for the new school year. I have been meeting often with central office administration, district administrators, as well as with interim Superintendent, Dr. Johanna Ruberto, to ensure a positive start to the new school year.

Please review this mid-summer update and you can expect to receive additional information from me about the 2023-2024 school year on Thursday, August 24, 2023.

Please note that all 2023-2024 Student Supply Lists are posted HERE on our school website. The supply lists are specific to each grade level that your child is entering into. If you are aware of any family that may be in need of financial assistance to purchase school supplies, please don’t hesitate to contact the main office.

Student Class Placements will be available in the Genesis Parent Portal on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 3:00 PM. Should you need assistance with accessing the portal, please contact Mrs. Dakss in the main office.
