FYI: All Kennedy Students remained indoors for recess yesterday (09/21) and today (09/22) due to hot temperatures. With the heat index reaching over 100 degrees, children remained indoors for recess.
Reporting Your Child's Absence
If your child/children will be absent from school, we ask that parents call the school office at (847) 671-0250 before 8:00am on each day of absence. Parents should expect us to contact the home when children are not in school. Thank you for your cooperation.
Safety Reminders....
Reminder: The gate located at the exit of the drop off lane on Wehrman will be closed in the morning.
Despite several reminders that arrival does not begin until 7:40am, some parents continue to allow children to unload from vehicles prior to 7:40am, which presents a safety concern.
In an effort to keep all children safe, the gate will remain closed until 7:40am when school supervision is available.
Health Forms Due Soon!
All medical (physical) forms are due to the office by October 15th. This is a legal requirement by the State Board of Education. Failure to return forms can result in exclusion from school. If you have concerns about the required exams and forms, please contact our School Nurse Anna Wrobel at 847-671-0250 x3111. Thank you for your support in keeping all of our Kubbies healthy and ready to learn!
