Classroom Highlights
Dear Lakota Families,
Our teachers have already planned some fantastic learning experiences for your children. From hands-on science experiments to engaging storytelling, we are committed to creating an interactive and stimulating environment for all students. Some highlights from this Fall have been our Back-to-School Night, Raider Rallies, Elementary Girls’ Basketball, the beginning of our Afterschool Program, and the Kindergarten through Second Grade field trip to Nelson’s Pumpkin Patch.
We welcome back staff members from last year: Mrs. Carrie Eidsness, Mrs. Laura Preble, Mrs. Sharon Blekestad, Ms. MiKara Johanson, Mrs. Jill Wall, Mrs. Pamela Kratochvil, Mrs. McKenzee Aronson, Ms. Kate Barney, Mrs. Shannon Arends, Mrs. Stephanie Nelson, Mr. Tyson Ackermann, Ms. Katie Wall, Ms. Kristin Wall, Ms. Tracey Tufte, Mr. Roger Tufte, Mr. Jon Harris and Mrs. Sarah Johnson.
We have also welcomed new staff members: Ms. Briar Halberg, our new 4th grade teacher and Thomas Nybo, our new 6th grade teacher. We also welcomed Mrs. Rhonda Fors as a paraprofessional in our building.
While we do not have a Music Teacher at the moment, we are continuously working on solutions to ensure a quality music education for our students. We strive to continue to offer the performing arts in our school and will send information as it develops.
Parent-Teacher Communication
We value strong communication between home and school. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns. Regular updates will be shared through our class apps and newsletters, and we encourage you to stay connected.
