HITEON HIGHLIGHTS NEWSLETTER

Please be sure that you read the information in this newsletter.

It has important information that will help you prepare for the upcoming school year.

The main office will be open every Tuesday from 8:00am - 3:30pm starting on August 25, September 1st and September 8th.

We will have a table outside the main entrance with enrollment packets both in English and Spanish. There will also be a table where you can turn in your completed packed along with copies of all required paperwork.

Entrance to the building will be limited, but conversations can be had through the intercom system.

You can also call our main office number at 503-356-2140 any day of the week. Please leave a message and someone will return your call.

Once school starts we will announce another schedule for office hours.

Everyone is excited to get back to school, even if it is remotely. But the BIG question is....

WHO IS MY TEACHER GOING TO BE??????

The principals and teachers are working hard to align all the students correctly to assure that classrooms are well balanced. We have targeted the week of August 31st to announce class lists.

You and your student(s) will receive an email announcing your teacher and then you will receive a personal ZOOM meeting with your teacher.

Stay tune for more exciting and fun news from your new teacher.

You must inform us if your student will not be returning to Hiteon for the 2020-2021 school year.

Whether your student(s) moved to another school within the district, out of district, FLEX Online, homeschooling or private school, please contact the main office.

We hate to see any of our students leave for any reason, but if you are leaving BSD, you must return any electronic devices (Chromebooks) that were issued during the Spring.

Contact Wesley, and he will schedule a time to meet with you and do a contactless return of the equipment.

Again, This is only for students not returning to a BSD school next fall; otherwise all returning students will hold onto their BSD devices for the Fall term.

Like last year, our Back-to-School Packets will be electronic. Although this year, the packet will be smaller but will be packed with important information regarding Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL), important BSD and partner resources in the community, BSD issued devices for distance learning and Hiteon building updates.

You will be seeing your packets arriving early in the the week of September 1st.
