Faculty/Staff Spotlight
This week's faculty/staff spotlight highlights custodian, Mr. King. Mr. King is always willing to help and does so with a cheerful spirit. He is conscientious about his work and diligently performs his duties with the highest quality.
Recently, Mr. King was recognized as Islands High School's Instructional Support Person of the Year for the 2024-2025 school year. In this role, Mr. King will work with other ISPY's from schools in SCCPSS to provide feedback and brainstorm ideas in support of school improvement.

Congratulations to Islands High School senior Branson James and Coach Decker!
Branson James was selected as the Most Positive Boys Cross Country Athlete in Southeast Georgia and Coach Decker was selected as the regional winner for the Most Positive Girls Coach in Southeast Georgia.

Important Read: Dress Code
All students are required to adhere to dress code expectations every day. As a reminder, students are not to wear leggings as uniform pant bottoms. Slippers, crocs, and slides are not allowed at anytime. Shorts and skirts cannot be shorter than three inches above the knee. Hats, caps, and hoods are not to be worn on the head while in the building. Bookbags must be clear or mesh.
Tops must be solid white, teal, or black. Tops may be polo-style shirts, collared blouses or turtlenecks.
Bottoms must be solid black or khaki shorts, skirts, skorts, jumpers, capri pants or pants/slacks
