We are excited to be able to offer COVID testing to students that are symptomatic in school. As mentioned in Dr. Stratton's recent letter, there are two components families need to do in order for this to be available. One of them is to complete this online form with our testing company. Please complete the following form: https://app.clarifi-covid-19.com/ It will take about 5-10 minutes, but only needs to be done once. This will add you to the testing system and allow you to receive live information on your child's testing status. The second element is to complete the consent to test form that was sent home with Dr. Stratton's letter. In addition, the district is offering a help session for anyone who needs assistance with signing up for on campus COVID Testing. • Masks must be worn at all times while inside the school. Students should arrive at school with a mask everyday
• Students should also bring a refillable water bottle with them to school each day. Due to COVID restrictions, our water fountains are currently not in use. Water bottle filling stations are available throughout the building
• Recess will be outdoors everyday unless it is actively raining. Families should plan accordingly
• Parents/guardians are asked not to drop students off in the staff parking lot in the morning
• Halloween is coming! Students are allowed to wear school appropriate costumes to school on October 29th. Students are reminded that Halloween masks and fake weapons are not allowed

This year’s Virtual Open House will be held on Thursday, October 14th. Due to COVID-19, our Open House will be held virtual again this year. But don’t worry, we still have some exciting things in store for you. During the approximately 45 minute grade level event, several of your children’s teachers will give you a brief overview of their curriculum and what to expect throughout the year. Other topics include AIS services, as well as information about our breakfast and lunch program. We will also be presenting information about our PBIS program. At the end of the evening, parents will have an opportunity to participate in a Q&A with your child’s teachers and myself.

7:30 pm - 8th Grade

A link to your child’s open house will be sent to your child’s school email address around October 12th.

Near the end of the evening, each grade level will raffle off a special prize! Every family who is logged in when the raffle occurs will have a chance to win a $50.00 gift card from Amazon, courtesy of the PBIS Team. We are starting a before school intramural program on Thursday, October 14th . It runs every Tuesday/Thursday from 7:20 - 7:55 AM . We will play a variety of games and activities, using the school gymnasium and/or outside school fields based on weather and availability.

Students will be required to provide their own transportation or be able to walk to the school. In the event of any cancelations, we will make an announcement to the students and make a post on our school district’s Facebook website. Students have been working very hard to earn Tommie Tickets to enter our monthly PBIS drawings. We've already had drawings for Stewarts and Amazon gift cards! On October 14th, we will be having a Pins and Rims Tournament during the school day. To be eligible to participate students must submit 5 Tommie Tickets and have had no MIRs beginning September 27th.
