Happy Reading!
Miss O'Kane
Hello Primrose parents!!!
This month we have very exciting fun facts to share with you. The third graders will be organizing the book swap, be sure to bring in books from your house. They can be for third grade, second, first, kindergarten and preschool. Another fun fact is that book look will be ending on May thirteenth. Reading week will be coming soon and the students are very excited. We just had April vacation and because of that 1,832 books were checked out and 768 books are overdue. Another fun fact is our idea board, one student wrote to move the tables and it actually happened!!!!!
Thank you for reading have a nice week!!!!

Book Love
Read of the Week by Grace & Rose
“Beacuse” by Mo Willems is the read of the week. It is a picture book. It is about a man named Ludwig and he wrote beautiful music . This inspired a man named Franz to create his own music. In one of his performances a little girl came and found her passion: music. The girl went on a journey to center stage and found it!
Most Popular Book by Afraz, Ariana, and Lily
The most popular book in the library this month is Are You Ready to Play Outside. Piggie and Elephant are getting ready to play outside. The problem starts. It rains! They still want to go outside.
RICBA Books by Aahan & Latham
There are new RICBA Nominees for 2020. Here are some of them: Bob by Wendy Mass and Rebecca Staed,Captain Superlative by J.S. Puller. Another one is Front Desk by Kelly Yang. I suggest you read Bob. It is a classic middle-grade tale of magic and friendship, about a girl who helps an old friend find home. - Aahan
By the way, the 2019 RICBA winner was Sergeant Reckless by Patricia McCormick. It is a true story about a brave horse who fought in the Korean War. I suggest you read this book:
Inky’s Amazing Escape by Sy Montgomery. This non-fiction book tells the amazing story of an octopus’s amazing escape from a New Zealand aquarium in 2016. - Latham
Overdues
There are 768 overdues in this past month. Since there was April Vacation, we had many days without going to library class.

Something that is happening in the library is that we are going to end book look on May 31st. Another change in the library is reading week is coming in 1 month. One fun event during reading week is that we get to listen for clues each morning to try to guess the correct book. Another fun thing about it is the book swap.
-Alessandra & Skyler
There is only 1 month left of book look. We stop checking out books in June. We do this so that we can make sure the books all come back to the library for next year’s students. We really need to return the books. Please look for any lost books or magazines so the students can enjoy them.
