DURING HOME FOOTBALL GAMES the building and the circle drive close at 5:00 PM. No beverages or backpacks are allowed in the stadium. Youāll be asked to leave these items at the gate or return them to your vehicle.
TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION NIGHT
Tonight, senior members of the MV Football team will honor teachers and staff members that have made an impact on their lives. As we all know, teachers impact studentās development, love of learning, and sense of belonging. Those honored include:

BEST BUDDIES KICK OFF MEETING
Are you interested in meeting new people? Would you love to connect with peers and grow new friendships? Join MVHS Best Buddies for the 2024-25 school year, as a Peer Buddy or an Associate Member. We will be kicking off a year of friendship and fun with the Best Buddies program on THURSDAY (9/19) from 6:00-7:30 PM in the MAC Classrooms. We will be playing games and getting to know each other ahead of our Buddy Matches. Games and snacks will be provided. We can't wait to see you there and continue to grow a community of inclusion and friendship here at Mounds View High School!
MEDIA CLUB MEETING
Are you interested in photography, editing, or videography? Do you want to capture the unforgettable moments of our school in a full-year Mounds View Rewind?
Media Club will have its info meeting on Friday (9/20) from 8:00-8:30 AM in Room 252.
STARTUP CLUB MEETING
How can high school students change the world? Whether it be helping the environment through biodegradable straws and wrapping paper, mental well-being through unique get-to-know-you games and journaling apps, Mounds View StartUp allows students to create their own products to solve worldwide issues.
Interested? The first meeting is Tuesday (9/17) from 3:15-4:30 PM in the flex space outside room 127. Stop by and check it out!
VOTER REGISTRATION
On Thursday (9/19) during class periods 3, 4, and all 4 lunches, stop by our table near the cafeteria to get registered to vote!
Anyone over 16 is eligible to pre-register to vote. Bring a driver license, Minnesota ID, or the last 4 digits of your social security number to pre-register. Democracy is not a spectator sport, so get civically engaged with your school community!

GIRLS SWIM & DIVE: The girls swim & dive team remains undefeated with an incredible win over Woodbury last night! Special shout out to Ellie Bina for setting a new school record in the 200 IM. Congratulations to the whole team! Go Mustangs!
ROBOTICS TEAM: The Parent/Student info night is on Tuesday (9/17) at 7:00 PM. Contact moundsviewrobotics@gmail.com if you're interested but can't attend.
SCIENCE OLYMPIAD: Sign up is now open for Science Olympiad! Go to the Athletics and Activities page of the MVHS website to register. Sign up soon as spots might be limited. We will meet every Thursday morning at 7:50 AM, starting on Thursday (9/26).
TRAVEL - JUNE 2025
Are you a current or former French student looking to travel in June 2025? Come to Montreal and Quebec City with Madame Narum! Info meeting is Thursday (9/19) at 6:00 PM in Room 266.

CITY OF SHOREVIEW AWARD
This award honors our community's outstanding youth volunteers. It goes to a student who lives in or volunteers in or on a program that impacts Shoreview, is in grades 9-12, and meets one or more of the following criteria:
- Anti-bullying efforts
- Arts & creativity
- Community involvement
- Courage
- Diversity awareness
- Environment
We are accepting applications through Thursday (9/19). Individuals can nominate themselves or others online.
