FROM THE PRINCIPALS
Welcome Back, CMIT-South Middle and High School Community!
Happy New Year! We hope you are well and that your winter break was filled with joy, relaxation, and time with loved ones. While the recent snow days extended our break a bit longer than expected, we are thrilled to welcome our scholars back to school and ready to start the new year strong.
As we return, we want to remind families to continue monitoring the weather and the PGCPS website for any updates or announcements regarding potential closures or delays. Your safety and preparedness are always our top priority, so please stay informed as we navigate this winter season.
We are entering the last two weeks of the 2nd quarter, and this is a critical time for our students to finish strong. Here are some important reminders as we move forward:
Monitor Grades: Both students and parents should regularly check Synergy to review grades and ensure all assignments are completed and submitted on time. Instructional activities assignment and completion can be monitored via Canvas.
Communicate with Teachers: If there are any questions or concerns about grades or assignments, please donāt hesitate to reach out to teachers for clarification or support.
Focus and Determination: Encourage students to maintain focus and give their best effort as they prepare for the close of the quarter.
We are excited for the opportunities and successes that 2025 will bring for our CMIT-South community. Thank you for your continued partnership in making this a fantastic school year. Letās continue our year of growth, achievement, and excellence together!
Go Tigers! š¾
