Words with Miss Renee
It's Homecoming Week in Danville and we are gearing up for the parade tomorrow! We hope to see you along the parade route. Last year, our staff loved tossing candy to our patrons.
We still have some stuffies ready for pick-up! We hope your children enjoyed the program, whether they were teens that helped or children who parted ways with their stuffies!
Yours in literacy and in life,
Renee Bowman

Juvenile Graphic Novel (JGN Bla)
They may look like Bad Guys, but these wannabe heroes are doing good deeds... whether you like it or not in this New York Times bestselling illustrated series. OK. It’s time to stop messin’ around . . . In this book, the One IS going to be reunited with the Others. You ARE going to actually meet the REAL DREAD OVERLORD SPLAARGHÖN. And ONE CHARACTER is going to change EVERYTHING you thought you knew. This is the one you’ve been waiting for!
Juvenile PIcture Book (JP Ber)
In the night garden, nothing is as it seems and everything is made new. Blinking stars and pale moonlight might reveal a lone cat tiptoeing across a roof, luminous flowers unfurling in the cool air, a mama fox escorting her sleepy cubs home. Listen closely and you might hear the wind blowing through the trees, the murmur of a slow stream, or the gentle song of crickets and bullfrogs, lulling you to sleep.
Juvenile Nonfiction (J 641.59 Lin)
Newbery and Caldecott honoree and New York Times bestselling author Grace Lin delivers a groundbreaking, lushly illustrated, and beautifully written full-color book that explores the whimsical myths and stories behind your favorite American Chinese food.
Here are all of our programs geared toward Tween and Teens through the beginning of January!

All of our events are made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Library. The Friends of the Library was founded to support the Danville Public Library in various ways. They sponsor all library programs as well as help buy the supplies/equipment needed for programs through membership dues and fundraising activities. We are always looking for more members!
