End of Trimester 2 Award Ceremony
Congratulations, Tate Warriors! We concluded another successful Trimester 2 on March 1. Besides awarding numerous superlatives, Tate was proud to graduate 7 students. Shout out to Gage Brock, LeKeith Chambers, Jeremiah Johnson, Lucas Klaus, Leslie Gallegos, Bella Jacobs, and DeAsia Lewis.
Reading at Alexander Elementary
To celebrate Read Across America week, a group of Tate students went to Alexander Elementary to read aloud to small groups of students. They read with second graders and kindergarteners. Our students had a great time reading to and interacting with the elementary students; they were all smiling and laughing on the ride back to Tate!
Spring Planting
The weather is getting warmer! This means Ms. Shanti's Biology class is planting new seeds. We are so excited to see how fast these will grow in the next few months.
Spirit Week
Teacher/Student day was a hit during Tate's Spirit Week. Pictured to the right is Gage Brock, a graduated senior, swapping outfits with Ms. Roskopf, our SFA. Thank you Student Council for setting up these activities!

Tate in West Side Story!
Zoe Smith, a West High School's student, wrote a story about Tate for their newspaper West Side Story. Often, there's a misconception about Tate being a school for "bad" kids. Gabby Williams, a 2023 Tate graduate, was interviewed for the story. They said, "It’s a school where you can feel comfortable and really come out of your shell and not feel so anxious all the time." Read more about the story here. Thank you West Side Story for such a thoughtful piece!
