Totem Poles

If you drive through the Kindergarten entrance car line, you will notice a "punch of color" was recently added to our school grounds. Second grade students participated in a two week long unit which combined their study of animals and the visual arts. Students created a visual representation of a habitat that was studied during their unit by carving it into a clay slab. The artist, Shane Bryant, combined the students' pieces to create class totem poles. Our second graders had a wonderful time getting to show their knowledge!

Middle School Transition - 5th Grade Parents

Middle School Parent/Curriculum Nights will be held as follows:

o Beck Academy Middle Parent Night for rising 6th graders on February 23, 2017 @ 6:00 pm

o Riverside Middle Parent Night for rising 6th graders on February 15, 2017 @ 5:00 pm

o For all other middle schools, please call or go to their website to find out when they are having their parent information night for rising 6th graders.

Students assigned to RMS and BA will also tour those schools with counselors/teachers during the school day:

o February 8th – Riverside

o February 9th – Beck Academy

Parent Report Card

As we cross over into the second semester of the school year, how would you rate YOUR school performance as a parent this year? As parents, we can sometimes get overwhelmed by the many demands on our time and we lose sight of the basics.
