Greetings Marysville Family,

Thanks to all the parents and guardians who made their way to Marysville Junior Senior High School last week for our rescheduled student-led conferences. It was a great turnout thanks to you and your students! We look forward to finishing the year strong!

Make sure to be a hero and donate blood on Tuesday, which is the spring blood drive as part of KAY Club Week at MJSHS. See the announcement below and plan to make an appointment to donate blood!

The action at the 4A State Wrestling Tournament held in Salina at the Tony's Pizza Event Center was as intense and competitive as ever. Left standing on the podium for the Bulldogs were senior Ella Johnson with a 6th place finish (145) and sophomore Karleight Throm with a 5th place finish (130). Senior Jenica Hubbard, senior Brock Crome, and sophomore Beau Bussmann represented the Bulldogs well. Congratulations to all the wrestlers for their success this year!

JAG-K students competed in the Regional CDC Competition, showcasing their hard work and dedication. Damien Waddell placed 4th in Prepared Speaking, and Addy Rockwell took 1st place in Career Preparation, earning a spot at the State CDC on March 12th at Wichita State University!

Addy is the first student from our program to qualify for state!

After you click on the picture you will be taken to the Red Cross website where you can search for Tuesday's drive and sign up for an open time. Or just show up and donate on the spot. Either way, we hope to see you there!

Ten 7th and 8th grade girls participated in the Emporia STEM EYF (Enhancing Your Future) girls conference. They collaborated with other girls across the state in hands-on STEM activities facilitated by leading women professionals in these career fields and graduate students. They also participated in career exploration through listening to guest speakers.
