Deoxyribonucleic Acid
DNA is a molecule that encodes the genetic instructions used in the developing and functions of all known living organisms. It is made of guanine, adenine, thymine, and cytosine. The structure of a DNA is a double helix.
DNA carries all of the information for your physical characteristics, which are essentially determined by proteins. Heredity passes on from parent to offspring through genes in the DNA. DNA replication is one of the most basic processes that occurs within a cell. In protein production a succession of tRNA molecules charged with appropriate amino acids are brought together with an mRNA molecule and matched up by base-pairing through the anti-codons of the tRNA with successive codons of the mRNA.
RNA is polymeric molecule. The types of RNA is mRNA, rRNA, and tRNA. RNA serves for the purpose in making proteins in any need in the body.
