The Art of Economic Argument
Economics Teaching Workshop
SAVE THE DATE
Mark your calendars for Thursday, January 14, 2016 as we host our next Economics Curriculum Night which will be a workshop titled "The Art of Economic Argument" inspired by Professor Patrick Grim of the State University of New York. Want to help your students analyze and evaluate economic arguments so that they can become better readers and debaters? Then register for this workshop and share your ideas with your colleagues and learn from others as well. This workshop is going to be different. Unlike the last two workshops we are going to go back to our previous format of having professors give individual presentations with the theme of teaching the art of economic argument. If you are interested in presenting please send a title of your presentation along with a brief abstract (100 words or less) and submit it to Richard Gosselin at richard.gosselin@hccs.edu. Approved presentations will be made on a rolling basis. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, January 7, 2016. Whether you plan to present or not please register today by clicking on the green RSVP button below! Also, please know that we will present certificates of completion for professional development if you need this for your annual evaluation with your college or department.
