Viking Field Trip
Students in Ms. Smith's and Ms. Sarmiento's Financial Algebra classes went on a special trip to the Junior Achievement Financial Park, nestled just outside of Griffith Park. Students participated in a reality-based decision-making simulation addressing aspects of individual and family budgeting, including housing, transportation, food, utilities, healthcare, philanthropy, and banking. While completing the simulation at JA Finance Park, students worked in small groups with volunteers from the financial sector who offered guidance and advice throughout the day. See picture below.
Have an amazing week, Vikings! Together, we thrive!

So Cal Trades Tour - 3/17
We are excited to announce that the SoCal Trades Tour is coming to Northview High School on Monday March 17th from 9:30am to 11:30am! This event is designed to connect our students with career training programs, apprenticeships, and skilled trade opportunities that can lead to high-paying, in-demand careers right after graduation.
At the event, students will have the chance to meet industry professionals and explore career paths in building trades, healthcare, first responders, arts and media, more! This is a unique opportunity for students to learn about hands-on careers that don’t require a traditional four-year degree but still offer stability, great pay, and long-term growth.
We can’t wait to bring the Trades to the forefront at Northview High! See you there!
Vikingfest - 4/3
Save the date Vikings! This year's Vikingfest is already in the works with a 70's flair! You won't want to miss this.
This is a community event open to all of our future, current, and past Viking families and friends! We will have food, games, and student performances. This is also an excellent opportunity to hear from our staff and coaches on all that Northview has to offer through our academic and athletic programs.
