A Message from Principal Hann
Scorpion families,
As we reflect on this past week, we are reminded of the strength and resilience of our school community. The social media threat earlier this week was a serious moment, but I am proud of how our students, staff, and families responded. Thanks to your support and the prompt actions of our students in reporting the concern, we were able to ensure a safe, secure campus and continue with our learning.
Looking ahead to the upcoming week, I am filled with hope and optimism. We are committed to maintaining a safe environment where our students can thrive, engage, and fully participate in the rich culture of learning we’ve worked so hard to foster at Desert Edge. With your continued partnership, we will move forward together, focused on what matters most: the success and well-being of every student.
Thank you for your support and trust.
Wishing you a great week ahead!
Gretchen Hann

School Alerts & Communications
We’ve noticed that some of our parents may not be receiving important alerts and messages through the Remind app. To ensure you stay up-to-date with the latest news, events, and reminders, we want to make sure everyone is signed up for our notifications.
Automatic Registration via Synergy:
When you register in Synergy, the primary parent's phone number is automatically added to our school Remind group. If you haven’t been receiving messages, it’s possible that your phone number may not have been added.
How to Join Remind:
If you're not already receiving alerts, or if additional family members would like to opt-in, it’s easy to join using our school code below:
How to Sign Up: Text the code @892678 to 81010
Note:
If both parents or guardians wish to receive Remind communications, the parent who is not listed as the primary guardian in Synergy will need to opt in separately by following the same steps with the code above.
If you have any questions or need help signing up, feel free to contact Ms. Koblinski at ckoblinski@aguafria.org. We look forward to staying connected with you!
