Freshman Study Session
"Hey Freshmen! Are you stressed out about final exams? Do you wish you had a great way to study for your finals? Are you hungry for pizza?
Link Crew has just the thing for you. It's the Freshmen Study Session, Thursday, December 12, after school, from 3:00 until 4:30 in the Commons. We will have teachers from Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and World Languages, along with lots of really smart Link Leaders all waiting to help you and answer your questions. Plus, we will have free pizza for all freshmen who come to study. We hope to see you there."
Lost & Found Items
All items in Chaparral's lost and found collection bins will be donated to charity during the winter break. Please remind your student(s) to look through the containers for their misplaced clothing, shoes, lunch bags and water bottles, ect.

Positive Friend/Mentor Award
The Chaparral counseling team recognized 38 students and 12 staff members for their first ever Positive Friend/Mentor Award. These amazing members of the Chap Fam were nominated by students or faculty members for their devotion to our motto of “take care of one another”. Counselors created this award to celebrate those who are supportive and inspirational and to tie in our amazing Sources of Strength program!

Community Service Opportunities
Seniors~
Winter break is a great time to complete your community service but it is important to schedule it in advance.

- Each student must complete 20 hours of community service as a graduation requirement
- Hours must be completed at a non-profit
- Hours are due for seniors on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 by noon
- All hours must be entered through HelperHelper
