Artificial Intelligence (AI) has made a remarkable entry into education, leaving educators with a mix of emotions. In this course we’ll help you navigate this new frontier by looking at different types of AI and how they’re used, the ethical challenges and dilemmas of AI in education, how AI changes teaching and learning, and how you can design activities and assessments with AI in mind. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about how AI fits, or doesn’t fit, into their teaching practice.

UEN Trainers Rob Bentley, Braxton Thornley, Kayla Towner, and Matthew Winters presented to the wonderful educators in Grand School District this past Friday. Sessions included AI, PCBL, Adobe, and Canvas.

UEN Trainer Matthew Winters shared his expertise with Heartland AEA, a statewide training organization in Iowa. They discussed Artificial Intelligence training opportunities and how to approach building connections between school districts.

Utah Council of Teachers of Mathematics - January 30th-31st

Join UCTM for their annual conference on January 30th - 31st at the Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo, Utah. The conference will have a great pair of keynotes with Jennifer Bay Wiliams and Kevin Dykema. Learn more and register here.

UCET / UELMA 2024 - March 19th-20th

Your eyes do not deceive you. UCET and UELMA are combining forces for their 2024 conference. This year join both conferences in downtown Salt Lake City at the Salt Palace for two days of amazing learning. Register for the conference today.

The STEM Action Center is hosting a series of Saturday Educator Learning.


"The Saturday Educator Learning Series is designed for any and all educators. We pick a fun lesson tied to content standards that you can take back to the classroom. On Saturday, November 18, we'll be teaching the basics of quilting and how math is involved. The intersection of art and STEM is everywhere!

The cost for this class is $25 to cover the cost of materials. It begins at 10:00 a.m. and goes until 1:00 p.m. We hope you can join us for a hands-on STEM experience!"
