Meadows Message from Mrs. Krz
December 13, 2024
Dear Meadows Community,
This week we enjoyed our annual Gingerbread Decorating in the cafeteria after school. We would like to thank Kimberly Rosenfeld, Kristi Benjenk, and Emilee Girvan for planning this sweet event and organizing all of the helper elves to set up the gingerbread mansions and clean up the aftermath of a well-loved, candy wonderland. Please check out the video on Instagram!
We would also like to thank parents Eunie Cho and Cindy Marian for planning a well-executed Mustang Trot. Donations are still being collected, and we are hoping to get close to our goal of $35,000. Let's do this, Mustangs!

Annual Adopt a Family Gift Drive - 30 Slots Still Open!
The holidays often bring to our attention that some are more fortunate to others in their ability to provide gifts to celebrate together. Every year we hold a gift drive for families who are currently living in a shelter near us to make their holidays a little brighter. Please consider "adopting" a family member by signing up in the link below. We will be delivering the gifts on 12/19.
We have about 30 slots that have not been filled yet!
Please click here to sign up and get all the information you will need. It is our hope that you will be able to take advantage of any great sales during Thanksgiving Break. Thank you for helping to make the season brighter for any of these families in need!
Recess Clubs are Starting in January!
Information was passed out this week about students starting their own recess clubs at school. The dates were incorrect on the form. Please know that the forms are due by the end of next week and that the clubs will begin on Wednesday, January 8 during morning and lunch recess. The form is linked right here with the correct dates.
Spirit Week - 12/16-12/20
Join in the fun, Mustangs! These spirit-week events were selected by our Student Council and No Place For Hate Committee members. We kept in mind that we wanted to make these days fun, but easy to do for busy families!

E-bike Stickers for Students in Grade 4 and 5
Starting on December 9, if your child in grades 4 or 5 rides an e-bike to school, it must have the approved MBUSD-certified sticker displayed on their e-bike to be permitted to park on school grounds.
To receive this sticker, students must have completed a District-approved e-bike certification course through E-Bike Sense or PedalAce. Without this certification, students will not be allowed to bring or park their e-bikes on campus, and any e-bike found without a sticker will be held for parent pick-up. Private course options remain available with E-Bike Sense (in-person) and PedalAce (online), and free District-sponsored classes will again be offered in January.
Here is the link to register privately for the in-person E-Bike Sense course. Please use the discount code MBUSD25 to receive a 25% discount available to MBUSD families.
Here is the link to register for the online PedalAce course. This course is offered at a 50% discount.
If your student has already completed or will complete a private class through PedalAce and E-Bike Sense, please submit their certificate of completion to the front office as soon as possible. Once verified, a sticker will be issued to immediately be placed on the e-bike. Certificates will be cross-referenced with lists provided to the school by PedalAce and E-Bike Sense.
