Natick Redhawks
Your Weekly Update from Natick High School
September 27, 2024
From the Principal's Desk
Dear Natick High School Families,
It was wonderful seeing so many of you at Open House last night. Open House is one of my favorite evenings of the year; there is always such a positive buzz in our hallways, and that energy serves as a powerful reminder of the value of our continued partnership on behalf of our students' learning. I also wanted to take a moment to give a special shout out to our students who supported the evening; from helping families navigate the hallways to running the lights and sound in the auditorium to making the announcements on the PA, we could not pull off this night without our student volunteers.
This week was also a big week for our 9th graders, who had their club fair (some pictures are below!) during CDS. If your 9th grader hasn't found something outside the classroom that is of interest, I would encourage you to ask them about the club fair. Our 9th graders also had class elections. We had over 25 students running for the four spots in class office! If your child ran for class office, and was not voted in, please stay tuned. There will be other upcoming leadership opportunities in the future, like Student Council.
Lastly, I wanted to mention that we are almost halfway through term 1. This is generally a good time to check in with your NHS student to see how their academics are going, and to log into PowerSchool to check their grades. Teachers are available to help students who are struggling or have questions. Please reach out to them by email if you have any concerns.
I hope you have a great weekend!
Kind Regards,
Josepha Blocker
Principal, Natick High School

Class Dues
All students are required to pay class dues, a one-time fee during their four years which supports class events. Those dues are required to attend class events, including the Junior Boat Cruise and many of the senior activities. It is essential that students pay dues early so we can begin planning the events with the necessary deposit funds. Class dues are $100 for the Classes of 2025, 2026 and 2027, and are $150 for the Class of 2028 and onward. Information on how to pay dues for 9th, 10th and 11th graders is below. Most seniors have paid dues already, but if you do not think you have, please reach out to class advisors, Mr. Donohue and Ms. Keefe.
If your family requires financial assistance in paying class dues, please fill out the district's financial assistance forms to qualify.
