April Recap: A Heartfelt Thank You for Supporting Our Literacy Round-Up Fundraiser!
Dear Meadow Brook Community,
As we approach the final stretch of the school year, we want to take a moment to extend our gratitude to each and every one of you for your support throughout our Literacy Round-Up Fundraiser. Your generosity, enthusiasm, and dedication to fostering a love for reading among our students have truly made a difference.
From the fantastic turnout at our Literacy Round-Up Night to the outpouring of donations and the continuous encouragement you provide to our students to keep turning those pages, your support has been nothing short of inspiring. As we all know, there is perhaps no greater gift we can give our children than the ability to become proficient readers. Your contributions towards this cause will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on their academic success and personal growth.
Upcoming Events: Embracing Balance as the School Year Winds Down
With just one month left of the school year, we have a series of exciting events lined up to celebrate our students' achievements and to emphasize the importance of finding balance in both work and play. From end-of-term parties at the pool to graduation ceremonies, we are committed to instilling in our students the value of working hard when it's time to work and playing hard when it's time to play. We invite you all to join us in these festivities as we celebrate the accomplishments of our Meadow Brook family.
Class Placement: Your Input Matters
As we look ahead to the next school year, we want to assure you that we are dedicated to creating an exceptional learning environment for all our students. Class placement is a crucial aspect of this commitment, and we are grateful for your input in this process. While we understand the desire for parents to choose their child's teacher, it's important to maintain a balance that accommodates the diverse needs and strengths of every student.
Throughout the month of May, we invite you to share any information BEFORE May 23rd(here), with us that you feel would be beneficial when considering class placement for your child. Your insights will be invaluable as we strive to create classrooms that foster growth, inclusivity, and support for each and every student.
Thank You for Your Continued Support
In closing, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation for your continued support. It is through your partnership and collaboration that we are able to create a nurturing and empowering learning community here at Meadow Brook. Together, we are shaping the future leaders, innovators, and thinkers of tomorrow, and for that, we are endlessly grateful.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support and dedication to our students' success.
Warm regards,
Heather Balli
Principal, Meadow Brook School

School Safety
- We kindly request your valuable assistance in teaching our students to use crosswalks. We have experienced a few close calls with young students dashing across the street without checking for cars. While we acknowledge that using crosswalks may not always be the most convenient option, your collaboration in modeling the use of crosswalks is essential to ensuring the safety of our students. Thank you for your help!
- In order to be on the playground before, during, or after school, you will need to check in at the office. This helps us keep our students safe.
Algunos recordatorios:
- Para estar en el patio de recreo antes, durante o después de la escuela, deberá registrarse en la oficina. Esto nos ayuda a mantener seguros a nuestros estudiantes.
