Fall Conference Information
October 25, 2024
Dear Parents and Guardians of Middle School Students,
Parent-teacher conferences are a designated opportunity for you and your child to discuss your student’s academic and social progress and set goals on an individual basis with teachers. In Pennsbury School District, we are excited to offer parent-teacher conferences for students in grades 6-8 in November and April. Communication between a school and home is necessary for a child’s continued academic success and social development. Conferences are an integral and beneficial part of our educational process. Conferences allow a designated time for teachers, students, and parents to build relationships and create goals regarding student progress in school and for parents to share other information about their children. This sharing of information is an important ingredient in effective instruction. At the middle level, conferences will be student-led, and your child will attend the conference with you and share their progress and experiences from the first marking period.
Conferences will be offered both virtually and in person on Monday, November 25th, in the afternoon and evening, and Tuesday, November 26th, in the morning. Students in Grades 6-8 will be dismissed at 11 AM on Monday, November 25th, and Tuesday, November 26th (no lunches will be served), and there is no school for students on Wednesday, November 27th. Conferences are optional but highly encouraged for all families.
At the middle level, one of your child’s teachers will reach out with an email next week to schedule a conference.
We look forward to welcoming you into our school buildings in April for conferences!

TreeHouse Peer Support Groups
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are happy to announce that the Treehouse Peer Support Group will be returning to the Pennsbury Middle School campus for the 24-25 school year.
Treehouse staff will be facilitating a support group at each of our middle schools for students who may be experiencing a hardship or struggle in their lives. The goal of the peer support group is to create a space where students feel safe sharing what’s going on in their lives and receive support from peers and adult leaders (see the attached flyer). The group will meet one time per week during the school day throughout the school year. If you are interested in having your child participate in the Treehouse Peer Support Group please click this link Treehouse Permission. Groups will begin on Tuesday October 1st, 2024.
If you have any questions please reach out to your school social worker.

Students are welcome to participate in intramurals, clubs, and sports!
- PIAA Sports-Students in 7th and 8th-grade need a PIAA physical form in order to participate in school-sponsored sports.
- Clubs/Intramurals-Any student is welcome to participate in a club or intramural. These happen throughout the year based on student interest and staff schedules. Clubs and intramurals will be shared on our morning announcements. They will also be posted on our Daily Announcement slide show that can be found via our school website. Students must have a signed permission slip in order to participate in a club or intramural.
- Students can take a late bus home. On Tuesday and Thursday we have a 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM late bus. This will be determined by the club facilitator. Most sports teams practice until 5:00 PM. Coaches will communicate practice and game schedules. Please review the late bus run information below. Just a reminder, that the stop may not be the same stop that they would typically take in the AM or PM.
