Week of May 16
Cap and Gown Delivery: Cap and gown packages will be available for pick up during lunch shifts on Monday, May 16. Packages not picked up that day can be picked up in room 428 anytime that week. All balances must be paid to Jostens before the cap and gowns will be released to students. Invoices for outstanding balances have been emailed to the address you have on file with Jostens. I have also emailed all seniors and families who owe a balance about this.
ADA Forms: ADA forms are due by May 20. Click here if you have a guest attending the graduation ceremony with mobility, hearing or visual needs. We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s needs.
We continue to plan for the graduation ceremony, scheduled for June 2 at 6pm in the high school auditorium. Admission to the ceremony is by ticket only, no matter the age of the audience member. Students will received ticket and other graduation information at a senior meeting we held Spring Break. Tickets will be distributed following the graduation rehearsal and senior lunch on June 1. The ceremony will also be livestreamed. Once we have the web address for that, we will share it with families and on social media.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions (france.bernadette@ccpsstaff.org). June will be here before you know it! Enjoy these last few weeks!!
Promoting a healthy and safe environment for ALL students and staff:
CCPS is committed to providing a safe, respectful, nurturing educational environment where the worth and dignity of individuals are valued and their safety and rights are protected. Behaviors that compromise this environment, interfere with school operations, or are otherwise contrary to the basic mission of our public schools will not be tolerated. Bullying, hazing, harassment, or other discrimination affecting a student or a staff member should be reported by a victim, parent/guardian, witness, staff member, or other person having knowledge. Staff members with knowledge of such conduct are required to promptly report it to the building principal.
