News for families of Margarita Middle School

Message from the Principal

Hello Mustang Families!

This week we will remember September 11, 2001 with Patriot Day. We ask our scholars to celebrate first responders and our military by wearing red, white, and blue on Wednesday 9/11. Our Scholars will learn this week about Mustang Strong R which stands for Respectful. Thank you for your support as we continue to build scholars who live and work in 2030, 2050, and 2075 while being Mustang STRONG.

Get involved and stay fit. Mustang Cross Country continues this Tuesday & Thursday mornings at 6:45 A.M. There is room for EVERYONE! Don't worry we start slow and build up to October and November competitions. Support your PE Teacher and join us on the field to find out more.

SSC Nomination Form

School Site Council Nominations DUE Monday 9/9

MMS is holding elections for School Site Council (SSC)! We invite you to nominate yourself or others to serve as a parent, community member, or student.

School Site Council is composed of equal numbers of staff and parent representatives who serve a 1-2 year term. They meet 4 times a year to oversee the implementation of various programs in the school, including state and federally-funded programs. The School Site Council is a governing body which is responsible for deciding how to spend Title I money to improve the instructional programs here at Margarita Middle School.
